The designer
Geneva, Switzerland
Design knows no boundaries and Philippe Cramer knows it. This Swiss American born in 1970 began his training with the study of Decorative Arts of the 19th and 20th centuries. Passionate, he pursued a course at the Parson School of Design in New York before founding in 2001 his own studio "Cramer + Cramer" in Geneva and an exhibition space in the district of Bains in 2003. Quality collaborations make his work a real reference as his partnership with Bernhardt Design or Gorg Jensen.
His inspiring world draws its references in 20th century design, always with a touch of modernity and malice. Several exhibitions showcased his work such as the Mitterrand Gallery in Geneva or the cultural center of Milan and several museums such as the Geneva Museum of Art and History exhibit his creations.
