The designer

Manuel Amaral Neto is a young Portuguese designer. After a Bachelor in Industrial Design at the Polytechnic University of Leiria, he joined Chris Kabel's studio in Rotterdam. He continues his training with a Master in Product Design at the Ecole Cantonale de Lausanne, which he obtains with mention of the Jury.

In 2014 he presented his first exhibition at the Salone Satellite - Furniture Fair in Milan - where he won the first prize with his Lamp Volta. Strong of its partnerships with big names of the design such as Cassina, Leucos or Baccarat, he founds in 2015 are Design Util studio in Portugal. A production controlled, responsible and thought for the interior with a constant concern for quality.
