It is called "Aube" in reference to the color of this unique and daily moment. A rug in the original and offbeat form. Its creator wished it minimalist, to propose a gradient from a limited number of colors. And the result is quite amazing.
Made by hand in a specialized Indian workshop, made of New Zealand wool, this thick rug will follow you for a long time. Timeless and robust, it accompanies the most varied interiors, from the most conventional to the most technical !
Born in 1980, Benjamin Graindorge is one of the young talents of French design. Graduate of the ENSCI - the Ateliers in 2006, his home landscape project was supported by the VIA. Benjamin has been selected for two consecutive years at the Design Parade Festival and has won the Cinna and Audi Talents Awards in the Design category. After leaving in residence at the Kujoyama villa in Kyoto, he returned to France to collaborate with François Bauchet on the scenography of the International Design Biennial of Saint-Etienne 2010. In 2011, he exhibited for the first time solo show at the YMER & MALTA gallery where he presented five objects conceived around the theme of reverie.
At present, Benjamin Graindorge has the chance to work on all scales of design: industrial design with Ligne Roset or Artuce, editing design for a company like Mustache or Harto and research design with Galerie YMER & MALTA. An exploration of design at all scales to continue to discover new landscapes and avoid boredom.
