"You have three months to propose your vision of a piece of furniture or object of the Romanian culture". Naturally Dragos chose Berger's chair, iconic seat of his beautiful country. A seat of solid wood, three feet provided with notches that comes to marry a triangle of metal intended to support your tired legs and the project was finished.
Very quickly noticed, the project is received the reward of the week of the Design with the congratulations of the jury ! A high table or bar in your living room ? Test this stool, design and aesthetics coupled with a true story: this is the furniture to have !
With a deep look and a skilfully neglected cut, the young Romanian architect Dragos Motica is a committed and mischievous designer. With a diploma in his pocket, he founded his first creative studio very early on and quickly became famous with an iconic creation, the "/" lamp, whose use is conditioned by breaking it. Through this project, he tries to question the future of the object, a primordial question in a consumer society such as ours.
His projects are many times noticed by institutions and are found in important facilities in Russia, Greece or the United States. Side furniture, he likes massive woods directly from his country, generous and responsible materials. The ecological impact is for him a key factor. His collaboration and his projects with the Romanian studio Ubikubi have been hailed by the world of Design. A talent to follow !
