History of the product
Pero is a functional and decorative 3D printed bookmark in the form of a dove. While the bird poetically perches on top of the book its long string holds in place marking the page. The sculptural doves are designed in three different positions, standing, pecking and flying and in a number of colors.
The designer
Ingeborg and Marko are dutch and co founded the Studio Macura collection of design objects and home accessories in 2010. Respectively, coming from different backgrounds, graphic and product design, they merge together their professional talent and experience to create the products of the collection. A red thread of narrative and cultural inspiration, as well as wit and functionality rather than a formalistic style characterizes their work.
